From House MD to the White House

Kal Penn, former star of House MD, has been offered a job with the Obama administration.

Penn, who campaigned with Obama, revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the administration had offered him the job of associate direct in the White House office of public liaison.

Penn's parents, who were Indian-American, apparently inspired his transition into politics. Penn will be working with the Asian-American community as well as arts communities, according to a White House spokesman.

Penn is most well known for his roll in the Harold and Kumar movies, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

ROSE'S TAKE ON IT
Fine, good for him. I hope he payed his taxes. hah? I guess maybe I'd prefer people getting jobs in the administration based upon merit rather than fame, but the article he wrote for The Huffington Post to two undeclared superdelegates was rather good, so I have no complaints.

Maybe we could get some more celebrities working in the White House. I vote Allison Janey replacing Gibbs!
