No Heart Crisis for Charlie Sheen Newborn

Nearly three weeks after the birth of his twin sons, one of Charlie Sheen's two and a half-men remains in the hospital, where the preemie will stay until he reaches a weight high enough to safely warrant his discharge.
Sheen's rep confirms to E! News that Max, who along with brother Bob was born March 14, is being kept under doctors' supervision, though not, as previously reported, due to a mystery heart ailment.
"Charlie and Brooke's infant son Max remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave the hospital," Stan Rosenfield said.
"The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term," quipped the Two and a Half Men star. "I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food; I just didn't realize that they started so young."
Rosenfield says "Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother at home."
The sons are Sheen's fourth and fifth children overall, but his first with wife Brooke, who herself was hospitalized in February with premature contractions. Back in September, the new mom, then in her first trimester, also underwent a potentially risky emergency gall-bladder surgery, and spent five days in the hospital.
