Here comes Anita Blake. IFC and Lionsgate are teaming to make a Movie/Pilot based on Laurell Hamilton’s 16 Blake novels. It includes elements familiar to fans of “True Blood” (vampires part of regular society) and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (tough young female fights supernatural forces). If it does well, a series will surely follow.
