Aaron Sorkin On ‘Entourage’? Working On New TV Show?

The West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin, who wrote Charlie Wilson’s War in 2007, is reportedly in talks to guest-star on Entourage and is talking about doing a behind-the-scenes look at a Keith Olbermann-style cable news show.

First, EW.com reports that Sorkin is in talks to join the next season of Entourage.

A source close to Sorkin says the uber-writer is in talks with Entourage to guest star on the comedy once it returns to HBO in July

And now we get to the rumor. Though Sorkin is working on a Facebook script and a script for George Clooney, he may be working on the aforementioned cable news show.

Word is that Sorkin is mulling over the idea of a new TV drama that takes a behind-the-scenes look at a cable news program (think: Keith Olbermann’s show on MSNBC). Though I’m not all that thrilled at the prospect of yet another behind-the-scenes show,

TV without Aaron Sorkin and David Chase (The Sopranos) is a sad place littered with garbage like Two And A Half Men and Heroes.

With that being said, I must say: Please come back Mr. Sorkin, we promise to love your TV shows again, even if Studio 60 was a failure. We prome.
