Charlie Sheen's Son Released From Hospital

Two and a half weeks after entering the world, Charlie Sheen's son has finally been released from the hospital, People magazine reports.

Max Sheen was being kept under medical care due to his low birth weight. The newborn, who also has a heart condition, has been allowed to return home to with parents.

"Premature babies are often underweight. Max made weight and went home," says Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield. "It's frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of Two and a half men [which is going on hiatus], so Charlie and Brooke will be able to spend some quality time with their kids."

Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen, gave birth to Max and his twin brother Bob, on March 14.
